Millet crop


 Millet (classical name: Pennisetum glaucum) is a type of coarse grain.  Millet crop requires low rainfall (average annual rainfall < 200 mm.).  Millets are grown for large scale consumption in India and some countries in Africa, while in the United States of America it is grown mainly for animal feed.
